I know of an amazing vet technician in the area who runs transports in the area, so we could coordinate with whomever to take her to her destination. She makes runs all the way up to the North Eastern states, so if somebody steps up along the route from AL to NY - we can get her there.

For now she has been rescued and is at a vets office for 30 days being treated for heartworms, very emaciated. After the 30 days they will need a foster or perm home for her.

Bcc please cross post. This poor dog is not only chained up, left without shelter (the top of his dog house has just weathered to pieces), but left behind by his family due to foreclosure. He is located in Bessemer, AL (about 15 miles southwest of Birmingham, AL). Can someone rescue or foster him?? Contact me if you can help. Thanks! Cheryl
