E. CLT-PLEASE HELP-$1000 REWARD (Rama,Monroe,Sardis, Myers Park Area)

*** LOST WHITE DOG *** REWARD ***
“KASEY” IS STILL MISSING!

FEMALE, UNALTERED, 3 YR OLD JACK RUSSELL TERRIER “MIX”, 20 LBS. NO COLAR. ALL WHITE WITH BROWN SPOT OVER HER “LEFT” EYE AND “ON” RIGHT EAR (PHOTO’S BELOW)

MOST RECENT POSSIBLE SIGHTING: THURSDAY 4/16/09. PLEASE READ AND CROSS POST, OR EMAIL, TO ANYONE WHO YOU KNOW WHO LIVES/WORKS OR FREQUENTS EAST CHARLOTTE AREA. Possibly spotted by a construction worker at the Manor Theatre in Myers Park on Thursday 4/16/09. And again later that day crossing Queens Road across from Edgehill Park .

As you know, we have no way of being sure this is Kasey but we are following up on all leads. We even called in a favor or two and CMPD has a BOLO (be on the lookout for) out on Kasey. They even have printouts with her picture! Rockstar….this dog!

We have received so many telephone calls and emails from those of you out there who have been touched by our story, even as far away as Texas and Colorado! We cannot tell you how moved and touched we are by your thoughts and prayers. Our concern at this time is that we are running out of resources and we are not completely sure where Kasey is anymore. People we don’t even know have come out to help find Kasey, it has been unbelievable Charlotte!

The real reason I am sending out this update is that the owner of Posh Pets promised to make a donation to our tracker service, Missing Pet Recovery Services, who has relentlessly been tracking Kasey. In addition, we made a $300 donation for her service. To make a long story short, she has not received the donation from Posh Pets and is short on funding. We will continue to use Missing Pet Recover Services in our search, however, if you have any interest in supporting the cause of lost animals and find it in the kindness of your heart to make a donation to this service, please visit www.missingpetrecoveryservices.org. Even if you can make a small donation of five dollars, please know that you will not only help Kasey, but also other fur mommy and daddies out there who don’t know this is a possibility to recover missing pets. The owner, Kare, has gone out of her way to print “doorhanger” flyers and circulate them thru the neighborhood. She went door to door and brought her K9’s (gorgeous german shepherds) out at their own peril. Loyal even had his paw hurt on the train tracks while following Kasey’s scent. Like I said, this isn’t for Kasey but for ALL the animal parents out there. She is short on funds and may have to shut down her amazing service.

If you have any information, sightings, or anything at all on Kasey, please call us as soon as possible. Or Call Animal Control IMMEDIATELY "311", or Charlotte Mecklenburg Police..

Thanks to all of you for your caring thoughts and efforts in helping us to try to find Kasey.

HISTORY:

African American Male apx. 5'10" tall, stocky build, and in mid 40's. Long dark hair with dreadlocks and scruffy beard.
Wearing Red baseball cap (possibly with Kentucky team emblem, not confirmed).
Wearing long black leather type coat.
Carrying small white dog matching our dog’s description. Dog did not have collar or leash, was muddy and scared and appeared to be ill looking.
He indicated to the interested party that he had the dog since a puppy and trying to sell her as a purebred Jack Russell for $150.

KASEY WAS BEING BORDED AT POSH PETS OFF MONROE RD. OVER THE WEEKEND OF 3/28/09. THE FACILITY HAD HER IN THE RECEPTION AREA WITHOUT HER COLLAR ON AND SHE EXITED/EXCAPED OUT THE FRONT DOOR WHEN A CUSTOMER CAME IN. WE HAVE REASON TO BELIEVE SHE IS FOLLOWING THE CREEK, POWER LINES OR RAILROAD TRACKS AND HEADING EAST.

WE ARE FROM HUNTERSVILLE AND ARE DESPERATELY TRYING TO FIND HER. WE HAVE SEARCHED THE AREA EVERY SINGLE DAY, MORNING, NOON AND NIGHT. MANY PEOPLE HAVE SEEN HER, BUT UNABLE TO CATCH HER, AND CALLED US AFTER THEY HAVE LEARNED ABOUT HER BEING MISSING. ... THANK YOU! WE HAVE HAD MANY VOLUNTEERS, INCLUDING RESCUE GROUPS, COME OUT TO HELP US FIND KASEY. BUT WE NEED YOU TOO.

IF YOU FIND, OR SEE, KASEY, PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY. 704-575-3558 OR 704-930-8181. ANIMAL CONTROL "311", OR CHARLOTTE POLICE. SHE IS A SWEETHEART, BUT IS VERY FRIGHTENED. WE APPRECIATE ANYTHING YOU CAN DO TO HELP HER FIND HER WAY BACK HOME.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.

THANK YOU!
